What families ask us most
Can my pet be treated at home?
Many pets can be treated safely and comfortably in their own home, including routine health checks, vaccinations, skin and ear conditions, arthritis management, quality of life assessments and compassionate end-of-life care.
Some conditions, emergencies, advanced diagnostics and surgical procedures are best managed in a veterinary hospital. If you’re unsure what’s most appropriate for your pet, please give us a call on (07) 3108 5551. We’ll help determine whether a home visit is suitable or whether your pet would be better cared for in a clinic.
Are you an emergency veterinarian?
No. We provide scheduled mobile veterinary appointments and are not an emergency or after-hours emergency service.
If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, such as difficulty breathing, collapse, severe trauma or continuous seizures, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital immediately.

Are you open after hours or on weekends?
We offer appointments during business hours Monday to Friday. Weekend and after-hours appointments are also available by prior arrangement.
If our team is already working during these times, same-day weekend or after-hours appointments may also be available, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Do you provide peaceful in-home pet euthanasia?
Yes. We provide peaceful in-home euthanasia for dogs and cats throughout Brisbane and Moreton Bay. Every peaceful farewell includes gentle sedation before euthanasia, allowing your pet to relax in the comfort of home, surrounded by the people who love them. We also offer quality of life assessments, palliative care, hospice support, pre-visit sedation consultations for anxious pets, cremation arrangements and ongoing guidance for families.
How do I know when it’s the right time?
Knowing when it’s time to say goodbye is one of the hardest decisions any pet owner will face. If you’re unsure, we’re here to help. We understand that many families simply need someone to talk things through with, and we’re happy to arrange a phone call with one of our veterinarians.
Our veterinarians also provide compassionate in-home quality of life assessments to help you understand your pet’s condition, discuss treatment and palliative care options where appropriate, and guide you through the decision without pressure.

Do you service my area?
We provide mobile veterinary services throughout Brisbane and Moreton Bay, including North Brisbane, the northern suburbs and southern Moreton Bay. If you’re unsure whether we travel to your suburb, please view our service area or contact us. We often travel beyond our standard service area where possible.
Are home visits less stressful for pets?
For many pets, yes. Being examined in familiar surroundings means no car ride, no waiting room and less exposure to unfamiliar sights, sounds and smells. We also use lower-stress handling methods and allow pets time to settle, helping many animals feel calmer and more comfortable throughout their appointment.
Can I book online?
Yes. Our online booking system lets you view live appointment availability and book instantly at a time that suits you with an appointment arrival window of 30 minutes. If you’re unsure which service your pet needs, or you’d simply prefer to speak with someone first, our friendly team is always happy to help.
Will you help me understand my pet’s condition and options?
Absolutely. We believe that good veterinary care isn’t just about treatment — it’s about helping you understand what’s happening with your pet and what your options are. Whether that’s for seeking further answers or treatment options where the condition is known. We take the time to explain findings in clear, everyday language, answer your questions, and help you make informed decisions that are right for both your pet and your family.
Do you treat anxious or fearful pets?
Many anxious pets can be examined and treated more comfortably at home, where they’re in familiar surroundings and away from the stress of travelling or waiting rooms. Our lead veterinarian is a Fear Free Certified Professional, and we use lower-stress handling, cooperative care principles and, where appropriate, carefully selected medications to help pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible during their visit.
We’ve seen many nervous pets become increasingly comfortable with veterinary visits over time through patience, positive experiences and an individualised approach. Every pet is different. While many pets benefit from a lower stress approach, some require a more in depth personalised behaviour plan and gradual desensitisation, and some may require referral to a veterinary behaviour specialist for more complex cases.
