Meet Your Friendly Team

Hi, I am Sharmila. I received my Veterinary degree from the University of Queensland. I have various veterinary fields of interest including dentistry, dermatology, behaviour, medicine and surgery. I am fairly outgoing and while I have a great love of animals, I am also very much a people person. I love caring for companion animals and finding the best outcome for owners and their fur babies. My partner and I have a fur baby named Lebowski (on the Home page). He is a smart, loving and very cheeky cat. He fills our lives with happiness and we would do anything to keep him happy, healthy and safe.

I am passionate about in home veterinary care and reducing fear in my veterinary patients. I have seen that there can be much stress associated with a visit to a veterinary clinic for many people and their pets. The setting, waiting room and short consultations can all add to that stress. I believe that the in home approach allows for a more comfortable and personalised experience, while providing high quality medical care suited to the lifestyle of people and their pets. This is why I decided to become a house call veterinarian.

Hi, I am Cai. I help out with a number of aspects of My Companion Mobile Vet including admin, customer care and patient care. My favourite part of the job is being able to provide an at home service for clients and their pets. Although my cat actually enjoys travelling, he is not too fond of meeting other animals and can get quite stressed in a clinic setting and I have found this quite stressful also. I really enjoy providing a vet care service that is focused on reducing fear and stress, as well as providing high quality individualised patient health care.
